Learn How to Take Great Photographs and Discover Nature
2 Hour Photographic Nature Ramble
Course leader - John Price NDD ATD (Photographer and Multimedia Professional)
Spend 2 hours in a woodland environment such as Epping Forest or one of Essex's many nature reserves. Learn how to take pictures of landscapes, trees and wildlife using your own camera. Even the simplest of cameras are capable of exciting results when you learn how to discover unusual ways of taking pictures no matter what the weather conditions.
Course requirements:
Bring your own camera and flash if available (If by chance you do not have a camera please let us know in advance as there may be opportunities to use one of ours).
Wear suitable clothing and shoes for what is sometimes muddy conditions.
Bring a drink or thermos and a sandwich if you feel you may get hungry.Course cost £7 children free accompanied by an adult (regular members £4)

2 hour Nature Ramble with Naturalist Tricia Moxey and Photographer John Price
Course leaders - Photographer and Multimedia Professional John Price and Naturalist Tricia Moxey
Join Tricia Moxey to learn about the natural world and local history. John Price will teach you how to get the best from your camera and take some creative pictures on this walk.
Try your hand at sound recording by recording some of the talk and receive a copy of the finished result as a picture showreel with commentary using some of the pictures that you take on the day.
Course requirements:
Bring your own camera and flash if available (If by chance you do not have a camera please let us know in advance as there may be opportunities to use one of ours).
A notebook if you wish to keep notes of the names of plants and flowers.
Wear suitable clothing and shoes for what is sometimes muddy conditions.
Bring a drink or thermos and a sandwich if you feel you may get hungry.Course cost £10 children free accompanied by an adult (regular members £6)

1 Day Nature Course Ramble Followed with a Computer Workshop
Course leaders - Photographer and Multimedia Professional John Price and Naturalist Tricia Moxey
Spend a morning with John Price and Tricia Moxey looking at nature on a 2 hour ramble through Hainault Forest learning about the enviironment and taking photographs and follow this with a packed lunch and an afternoon looking at the photographs you have taken that morning and learning how to design your own PDF booklet, poster or greeting cards using Photoshop and Indesign.
Course requirements:
Bring your own camera and flash if available (If by chance you do not have a camera please let us know in advance as there may be opportunities to use one of ours).

Part of the objects of A Vision of Britain is to work with other organisations, councils and CIC's to encourage more people to become involved in Active Health walks. With so much beautiful countryside and many nature reserves and woodlands this area has lots of good places to get out and see. Health and fitness is vital to our well being A Vision of Britain uses multimedia and natural history to make its walks more appealing and interesting to those that who are not keep fit addicts.
