Awards for All Lottery Grant - Walking for Health
A Vision of Britain CIC was successful in winning an Awards for All Lottery Grant recently to help support walking programmes for over 50's. Although it equally applies to families who may wish to go on interesting walks in the Epping Forest District.
The grant enabled AVB to buy video and computer equipment to film some of the popular walks and create PDF's that illustrate the routes and showshort videos of the historical and natural aspects of the walks. 5 walks are covered in total but AVB hopes to go on and make more .Sound podcasts are also being made to download onto your ipod or mp4 player so that you can listen to a documentary of the walk as you walk around.
